The Unit Lamp is a 3D-printed desk lamp conceived from a single question: what happens when we split a traditional lamp form into symmetrical halves?

Division creates possibility. A form separated is also a form that can now integrate different materials, different functions — each half offering a distinct quality of light. The result is a lamp composed of two panels, each able to illuminate differently depending on material and pairing. But the split does more than change how light behaves. The paneled form allows each half to function independently as a wall-mounted lamp, or together as a unified desktop lamp.

Fragmentation also opens the door to asymmetry. Future iterations might abandon the symmetrical split entirely, exploring uneven divisions that suggest new functions beyond the lampshade itself.

To think about separating is to think about reassembling. The Unit Lamp insists that form is not fixed — it is a condition that can be rearranged.

The Half & Half — Celebration Packet was developed as a reusable envelope system. To enable this possibility, the use of adhesive was intentionally omitted during the design process. This omission required a rethinking of how a traditional envelope is assembled.

The act of assembling implies the coming together of different parts. As such, the perception of the envelope shifts – from a singular, unified form to one composed of multiple parts.

We sliced the original form into halves, breaking it into components, and introduced a weaving-style interlocking mechanism that allows the parts to assemble themselves while simultaneously sealing the packet once formed.

Using parts as a method of assembly opens up the possibility for the two halves to be made from different materials, further introducing opportunities for customisation and variation.

Its ability to be formed and taken apart allows users to mix and match their preferred combinations, as well as explore new variations that we will be releasing periodically. Perfect for housing money, a note card, or anything that fits.

The Gridvase reimagines the floral vessel through the lens of Ikebana and 3D printing. Inspired by the Sogetsu school’s avant-garde spirit, it deconstructs the idea of containment into one of openness — a lattice structure that holds flowers from all directions. Produced through Selective Laser Sintering and printed in flexible TPU, the Gridvase embodies both diffusion and distortion, inviting new ways to arrange and perceive flowers.

Due to the porous nature of TPU, slight deformation may occur over time when exposed to changes in temperature or humidity. If reshaping is needed, gently adjust the form with care. When submerged, the material may retain water – ensure the piece is completely dry before reuse, as residual moisture can affect its structural integrity.

The Prism Tote is a lightweight functional object derived from the geometry of the prism. It allows the familiar form of a tote bag to transform into a prism-shaped pouch — carried open, or folded closed into a self-contained form.
